There’s no question that print adsĀ can still be cost-effective, as long as you’ve done your homework about the demographics, geographics, and circulation of the publication in which you’re advertising.

Think HYPER-local to maximize your budget
Things like neighborhood circulars and high school programs (particularly if they also have an online sponsors section) are still excellent places to advertise. They’re low-cost, benefit your community, and are seen by a very targeted set of customers.

Mass media is too expensive
Mass-market newspapers and magazines–unless they’re published to extremely niche audiences–are generally poor investments relative to online media.
